The Federated Malay States were a group of four States on the Malay Peninsula, including Selangor, Perak, Negri Sembilan and Pahang that were united by the British Government in 1895.
The Federation ended in 1946 to become part of the Malayan Union.
Which became the Federation of Malaya in 1948.
And travel by train from Singapore to visit a romantic beach at Batu Ferringhi in Penang.
The Federation of Malaya gained their independence from Britain in 1957,and formed Malaysia in 1963.
